Diving into Deception, your palette quickly realizes that this isn’t your typical grandfathers’ whiskey. With smooth subtle notes of honey blend and smokey wooden undertones to compliment the art, Smooth, with true grain character achieved in a youthful whiskey. Deception is undeniably the choice of the novice and experienced whiskey drinkers. Look to classic cocktails like the Hot Toddy for proof of just how incredible the duo can be. At least, a new flavored whiskey is worth to taste, wouldn’t you say? It does not get much easier than this drink. Really, the name says it all. It’s also often called “Deception and vibe,” referring to the stream of social energy that flows into your bar/glass. 100% locally sourced Our Whiskey is aged in Oak barrels for nearly three years. 40 % abv, 80 proof our whiskey is made with 80% corn, 12% rye, and 8% barley then charcoal mellowed. We’ve curated the perfect blend with a unique caramel color. Deception Whiskey is slowly infused with natural golden honey to produce a deep enriched flavor. The finish has a strong spice impact with lingering smokey, yet smooth but complex taste. The fire builds slowly creating a warm after taste with hints of honey. Deception’s unique flavor allows it to easily be infused with your everyday taste bug.
As it says on the bottle, this 80-proofer is “handbuilt in Texas with Southern grit” and made from wheat and corn. Charcoal-filtered and unctuously textured, the palate is dotted with peppercorn and tobacco. While the mouthfeel is bold and extroverted, the aromas offer a milder tonality with blueberry and lavender. We also loved the steerhead-shaped barcode on the back of the modern packaging.

Proeza is the word Prowess in Spanish and it truly describes the culmination of centuries-old techniques that have resulted in Proeza, an exceptional tequila. Tequila itself is a unique spirit. Other distilled beverages are products of crops such as grains or fruits. Grains and fruits grow at least annually, and yield their sugars for fermentation in predictable ways. Tequila, on the other hand, comes from the heart of a very special maguey plant, Blue Agave, which takes around seven long years to mature and must be baked. Blue Agave only grows in the soil of a designated territory of Mexico, under its sweetening sun, and through varied and variable seasons of wind and rain. Proeza Tequila is made with 100% of the finest Blue Agave, grown on the actual estate where Proeza Tequila is distilled and bottled. Each individual Blue Agave plant is cultivated and tended for years until its ideal harvest, under the watchful eyes of masters in the art of tequila. Some Proeza Tequila, young and vibrant, can be enjoyed as Proeza Blanco. Some is set aside for gentle aging in oak, resulting in Proeza Reposado, and, after full aging, Proeza Añejo.
Enchanted Rock Texas Vodka is where art and science converges to deliver a sophisticated, sublimely smooth, creamy and soft flavor experience. 40% ABVOur vodka is produced in small, hand crafted batches using a German copper distillation system. This takes more skill and effort to run than more automated equipment. Copper interaction is very important to the finished spirits flavor as it reduces sulfuric flavors and aromas through catalyzation. The vodka undergoes the functional equivalent of 10 distillations to produce a clean, neutral base while retaining the sweetness that comes from the use of premium mid-western corn. The Rebecca Creek Distillery takes the rare, additional step of chilled filtration rather than the more typical carbon filtration which can strip positive flavors and aromas. The spirit is chilled to below freezing to force undesirable congeners out of solution so they can be filtered out. The result is a very clean vodka with a distinctive flavor which cannot be reached in other ways. There are no additives such as sugar, citric acid or glycerine and our vodka is naturally carbohydrate and gluten free. Whether experienced neat or in a cocktail, Enchanted Rock Texas Vodka delivers the ultimate taste experience for discerning vodka connoisseurs.Awards Enchanted Rock Texas Vodka has received The Platinum Medal in 2011 SIP Award International Spirits Competition, the Silver Medal and the Bronze Medal at the 2011 Los Angeles International Spirits Awards.
