We only use refined sulfur free grade A molasses and pure cane sugar from Louisiana Sugar Refining in Gramercy, LA. This is a Co-Op of cane farmers in South Louisiana that grows only the finest of cane. This rum is finished with American White Oak from the mountains of Tennesse where the trees naturally soak up the sugars from the moist mountain environment. The flavors combined on the pallet are like a sweet piece of butterscotch candy.

This recipe was handed down for 5 generations to one grandson, the current owner of Clifford Distilling in Port Arthur, TX. Sean Clifford’s family hails from East Tennesse up in the Smokey Mountains where Sean started his journey distilling at the young age of 3 and continued to perfect his craft ever since. This corn whiskey is the base for all his strait whiskey’s. There are no added color or flavorings is Sean’s whiskey. We use only the finest grains available from Denton, TX. The Co-Op of farmers grows only NGO and single strain grains. This group of farmers have been growing the same strains of grains for the last 100 years and plan to be growing for the next 100 years. That way our product will not change due to the different grain supply. Our Cane Sugar comes from Louisiana Sugar Refining in Gramercy, LA.
