Real Spirits Rye Grain Straight Malt Whiskey  is a grain with roots embedded in American spirits history. Easier to grow and hardier than barley, rye was king when it came to distilling whiskey in colonial America. With its spicy, grassy character, rye whiskey was the main type of whiskey consumed in the United States from the late 18th to the early 20th century. The mash bill of this particular grain whiskey is 85% malted barley and 15% malted rye. This small proportion of rye gives our whiskey a spicy bold complexity that compliments and balances the sweet toasted cereal characteristics of the malted barley.
Real Spirits Gin was distilled three times in our hand-hammered copper pot still. For the third distillation we add botanicals directly into the pot itself and our inline gin basket to allow for a more precise infusion. We use ten different botanicals in our gin- juniper, corriander, angelica root, orris root, grains of paradise, lavender, grapefruit, lemon, orange, and bottlebrush. The leaves of the bottlebrush tree lend a unique flavor of sweet menthol with hints of tropical fruit and banana. Our distinctive process and ingredients result in a more pronounced mouthfeel and additional dimensions of flavor. Enjoy the same way you would any fine gin or whiskey- in a Martini, on the rocks, or our favorite, the Nagroni.
